Samurai Calling

Samurai Calling (侍 (さむらい) の義 (ぎ) , Samurai no Gi^?) is the purpose a Samurai seeks to fulfill. While a Samurai's general duty is to protect the galaxy, a Samurai Calling is a personal goal each warrior must choose for themselves. Choosing a Calling is important for a Samurai, but also carries a risk. Should a Samurai decide give up on fulfilling their Calling, it is possible that they will be forsaken by Fudo Myo-o and die.

Known Samurai Callings

• Yasha - To keep Kala from destroying the galaxy.
• Daruma - To seek Pandora's Box and the Seven Keys.
• Hachimaru - To be a good son to his father by protecting Ann and the galaxy.
• Yoshitsune - To continue his clan's tradition by having a child that can become a Samurai.
• Nanashi - To always help Hachimaru.
