The Trinity (三 (さん) 身 (み) 一 (いっ) 体 (たい) , Sanmiittai^?, lit. Three bodies in one (body)) is a term used to describe what a Samurai needs to unlock his true potential. It consists of the Samurai himself, his Key Holder, and a his Princess of Fate.^[1]

Sanmiittai (三 (さん) 身 (み) 一 (いっ) 体 (たい) , Sanmiittai^? lit. Three bodies in one body) has the same reading of Sanmiittai (三 (さん) 位 (み) 一 (いっ) 体 (たい) , Sanmiittai^? lit. The Trinity). The author changed the kanji Mi (位 (み) , Mi^? lit. Grade/Rank) to Mi (身 (み) , Mi^? lit. Body/Person) that is the same kanji used in Threefold Body (三 (さん) 輪 (りん) 身 (しん) , Sanrinshin^?, lit. Three Wheels Body).^[2]
